Today we had a surprise baby shower for one of my coworkers, Liz. She is expecting a baby girl and is a HUGE fan of animal prints.
The girls set up our office's conference room with baby decorations and
had the LCD screen displaying baby pictures of her.
The baby shower cake was made by my coworker's mother. Referred to as "Mama-Nolan" , the woman's cakes are a huge hit in the office. She makes them for us for special occasions and holiday theme cakes.
We got the food catered from Newtone's Grille in Billerica, Ma. The menu was planned around the guest of honor's favorite foods, chicken parm, chicken broccoli ziti, and steak and cheese calzone.
Liz was definitely showered with gifts, lots of animal print stuff to her liking. My tall friend and I chipped in for a bunch of baby clothes including many packs of onesies, shoes, jackets, and boots.
We all chipped in for a crib as well. Her other gifts included clothes, diapers, wipes, toiletries, blankets, bibs, diaper bags, bottles and other necessities.
It took two SUV's to transport her baby shower gifts to her house.
